Grace Kim graduated Elam school of Fine Arts, University of Auckland in New Zealand. She has taught students art and painting for many years, worked as a graphic designer and currently works as an Art Director in advertising.

She is always thinking about the perception of beauty while focusing on very small complex details within the canvas. She works with mixed-media, acrylic on wood or canvas and watercolour. She does a lot of layering in her painting to create depth and loves to explore patterns.

She also loves painting people’s dogs and cats and does commission work.
