Aron Baldueza-Castro was born in the Philippines and grew up in Kobe, Japan. His practice embraces a marriage of mediums to make material often intangible and scattered concepts. He typically relies on a patchwork of photography, poetry, digital illustration, and canvas to communicate such ideas across. 

Due in large to his quiltwork upbringing, identity and purpose form the thematic foundation of his work. He yearns to study the fundamental influences of childhood, ancestral identity, distance, and time. His methods in creating show a love for literature and an interest in the power of symbolism and iconography from both religion and philosophy.

He is currently based in Singapore. A media/advertising monkey by day. An idiot-savant by night.
