Colours Of Kelp

While kayaking utilising my partner’s rediscover vouchers at Sentosa, I was captured by the layers of kelp floating atop and just below the ocean surface. The more submerged the flora were, the more foggy and refracted they looked to the naked eye. This visual effect reminds me of my own technique of painting subjects with more spontaneous and carefree strokes as they disappear into the background and felt like an intersection between my art and nature.
