Home is a Luxury

I find comfort in what I lack. Home-cooked meals are not available in my family; dishes that bring comfort beyond the description of tastebuds. Taking care of plants brings serenity to my mental state when there are stress and tensions. The pandemic has created more changes that could disorientate us on the everyday. We are forced to adapt regardless of the circumstance. Home is a physical space and a state of being that we need to protect for ourselves. Sometimes we need to fight for it because home is a luxury that needs our continuous effort to keep.
