Hope

During the pandemic, we’ve all had to face some hardships or overwhelming amount of changes and challenges in some way. But amidst all that, I’ve learned that there is always hope if you persevere. The tiger emerging out from nature symbolises hope and courage coinciding with the Year of the Tiger, while nature and landscape represent the inevitable changes in life. I am always thinking about finding beauty in the things that I see and observe. So, in my painting, I focused on small complex details within the canvas by adding a lot of layering to create depth and exploring intricate patterns.
