Overcast

Inspired by a house seen during a morning walk, I just had to capture the different textures and hues on a grey moody day. This painting was conceived during the midst of the lockdown in response to the widespread desire to travel and get away from the country we are currently stuck in. I think responded by attempting to gain a new perspective on the place we call home, presenting an image of Singapore that isn’t our stereotypical sunny island.
