“The only way to live with the uncertainty is to embrace it. It’s the only way to peace. The same can be said of the sea. Its tides are so unpredictable, yet one finds comfort in experiencing it— the sound of the waves, walks on the shore, boat rides, floating on water. Growing up, I always loved going on trips to the seaside to reset, to give up control and embrace the uncertainty of the tides. The start of this pandemic has found me floating in limbo, like drifting out to sea. Yet, in the uncertainty, I look for the calm and ease – the comfort in surrendering, letting go, and allowing the daily ebb and flow to guide me.”
